Lodalite Quartz Cluster

Lodalite Quartz is the name given to any quartz with intermediate minerals in it. This means that the quartz will have other minerals inside it; some that grew within the quartz as it was forming, or the quartz may have grown around the other minerals that were already present. Included in these minerals may be pyrites or fools gold, both in cube or platelet form, as well as chlorite, sulphur, iron, hematite, among others.

Lodalite is also known as Seer Quartz or Shaman Quartz.  The minerals included in Lodalite Quartz often resemble a lunar landscape. These very powerful journeying crystals are used by shamans to induce visionary experiences and healings. Meditation with a dream crystal is said to bring transformation on many levels.  The soft patterns within each crystal remind one of an underwater scene in another world. The are prized by collectors as no two are alike.

Exposure to water and other chemicals, such as cleaning products or aerosols, will damage it over time. If you polish the stone, use a dry cloth only, or an air duster that does not contain any disinfectant or other chemicals.
