Tanzanite Ring

Tanzanite is a beautiful bluish-purple coloured gemstone.  It is quite rare and quite beautiful. It is actually a form of the more common mineral zoisite. Zoisite comes in many colours including pink, green, and brown but the gemstone blue tanzanite is the most rare.

Tanzanite has become quite popular over the past few years as people are becoming more familiar with this gemstone. It is the unique colour of tanzanite that makes it one of the more sought after gemstones on the market. 

Some believe that Tanzanite can provide balance to people, and can calm or relax them. It is said to help to give clarity to problems and clarity to the meaning of life.

This stone requires special care - exposure to water and other chemicals, such as lotions or perfumes, will damage it over time. If you polish the jewellery, avoid polishing the stone itself. A silver-cleaning dip should never be used with this piece.
