Morganite is the pink to orange-pink variety of beryl, a mineral family that includes emerald and aquamarine. While pink is the most common colour, it is also found in pastel blue, green, purple, and yellow shades. Morganite’s subtle color is caused by traces of manganese or cesium and forms in masses and prismatic crystals. Unlike most beryl formations, Morganite is relatively free of inclusions. In rare cases, it can display chatoyancy (a cat’s eye effect), or asterism (a star effect), when cut to highlight these features. Strong color in morganite is rare, and gems usually have to be large to achieve the finest color.
Morganite is believed to help attract and maintain love. It activates and cleanses the Heart Chakra, and it thought to sooth nerves and calm stresses and anxiety.
Muonionalusta is an iron meteorite classified as a fine octahedrite, which impacted the northern Scandinavia West of the border between Sweden and Finland approximately one million years ago. First discovered in 1906, the Muonionalusta is probably the oldest known meteorite on Earth. Since landing on Earth, this meteorite has experienced four ice ages. The Muonionalusta meteorite itself is older than Earth, as it dates within several million years of the formation of our solar system.
Muonionalusta meteorites have the most beautiful etch pattern. When cut or sliced, the interior reveals perfect Widmannstätten crystal structure. This pattern is the result of the meteorite cooling in outer space over billions of years. Each meteorite is unique and will display a different crystal structure.
Meteorites are known to assist with spiritual growth, increase psychic abilities and help connect with other realms. This piece is a perfect gift for the dreamers, space enthusiasts and armchair philosophers.
Each high quality faceted morganite and Muonionalusta bead is skillfully polished individually, then drilled to create this colorful bracelet. Connected with jewellery elastic, this bracelet stretches to fit. Perfect for stacking with other bracelets or just to wear on its own.
